In honor of our dear friend Julie Hait Adler, the Team Peri Foundation is proud to establish a scholarship in her name. Julie was a leader; she exemplified kindness, acceptance, and advocacy both in her personal and professional life as a Speech Language Pathologist. She was a mother, grandmother, and exceptional friend who made everyone feel special. Julie was soft spoken, a great listener, ready to help anyone in need, lived for the moment, and led by example. She was a compassionate citizen, leaving a lasting impact on her community.

The Julie Hait Adler Scholarship will provide financial support to Adelphi undergraduate students in the Levermore Global Scholars program (LGS) who are poised to be future leaders. This prestigious program challenges students to examine complex issues and tackle global problems and prepares them to become leading professionals in their chosen fields. Levermore Global Scholars recognize and internalize the importance of social responsibility and justice, civic participation, community engagement, global awareness and global activism, all of which are reflected in the activities scholars have the opportunity to partake in.

Peri Finkelstein '22, MBA '23, Founder and President of Team Peri Foundation is a proud graduate of Adelphi and the Levermore Global Scholars program. Hence, she couldn't think of a better way to honor Julie, an exemplary leader, than by supporting future leaders who will be making a lasting impact on our world as she did.
