Vivian Walker Memorial

Vivian Walker

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of mom/grandma, Vivian Walker, “Viv.”

To know her was to know her outgoing, pioneering spirit, her work ethic, her passions—politics, gardening and of course shopping, shopping, and more shopping—and her love for her family and friends.

Viv was so proud of her grandkids. She learned about autism as her grandson, Jesse, has to deal with various challenges. Viv never stopped asking questions about ASD and educated others about it as well.

In this spirit, Viv’s family requests you consider making a gift to the Bridges to Adelphi Program to help neurodiverse students receive a life-transforming education.

Please click here to make your contribution securely online. Checks can be made payable to Bridges to Adelphi and mailed to the address below. Please note on the memo line that the gift is in memory of Vivian Walker.
